Callout - female despondent from Ascot, Berkshire

Specialist volunteers from SEBEV Search and Rescue Team were called out today (18th Dec 09) to assist Thames Valley Police with the search for a missing 51yr old woman from Ascot, Berkshire.

 
Susan Carr went missing from Heatherwood Hospital, Ascot, at approx. 0930hrs today (18th Dec)
 
The team were called at 1252hrs and responded with a number of immediately available personnel, a search controller and the teams specially equipped search control vehicle with more members attending as the incident progressed. SEBEV SAR also requested assistance from Berkshire SAR Dogs, a team that specialises in the use of search dogs for lowland searches.
 
SEBEV SAR deployed 9 searchers for a period of 7hrs with a further 4 en-route.
 
The misper was located safe in a location outside of the search area that evening.
